Studying in Batumi — a guide for students from Lebanon

Plan your application from Lebanon: documents, tuition, travel and questions to resolve before you commit. Our MENA admissions team in Amman can help remotely in Arabic or English; we do not have a confirmed office in Lebanon.

Study location: Batumi, Georgia

Admissions support: Arabic and English, remotely from the MENA desk in Amman

Travel from Lebanon: Confirm available routes and entry rules before booking

How to apply from Lebanon

Ask the admissions team to review your Lebanese Baccalaureate or other secondary qualification and subject marks; eligibility is assessed individually.

Complete the online application and upload clear scans of your passport, school certificate and transcript. Include English proficiency evidence if you have it.

Confirm the translation, certification and attestation requirements for your documents with admissions before paying for these services; retain the originals for enrolment.

Review your offer and fee schedule before paying or arranging travel. Track your submitted application using your reference number.

Documents to prepare

Start with a valid passport, your secondary-school certificate and a transcript showing your subject marks. If your records are in Arabic or French, ask which certified English translations and attestations will be needed for enrolment and immigration; the exact requirements can depend on your documents and circumstances.

Costs to plan for

The $500 USD application fee is non-refundable and is due within five days after you receive a conditional acceptance letter. You do not pay when submitting this form.

Confirm your personal payment schedule, current tuition and any additional charges in your written offer before paying.

Medicine (MD): $6,500 per year

Dentistry (DMD): $4,500 per year

Application fee (non-refundable): $500 USD

Additional budget: Housing, living expenses, travel, document processing and any visa or residence costs

Travel and entry into Georgia

Flight schedules and transit requirements between Beirut and Georgia can change. Compare routes to Batumi or Tbilisi, and check transit rules with the airline and relevant authorities before booking.

Do not assume a Lebanese passport grants visa-free entry or that an admission letter guarantees a visa or residence permit. Confirm the entry category, supporting documents and residence process for your own passport and itinerary with Georgia's official consular authorities before travel; the admissions team can help you prepare university documents.

Recognition and practising in Lebanon

A place in a programme and a Georgian degree do not guarantee degree equivalency, residency placement or a licence to practise medicine or dentistry in Lebanon. Before enrolling, ask the Lebanese authorities responsible for higher-education equivalency and the relevant professional licensing body to confirm their current rules for the specific programme, mode of study and your intended career path in writing.

Keep copies of your programme details, accreditation evidence, transcripts and clinical training records for any future review. Requirements can change, and only the competent authorities can decide your case.

Who to contact

Use the contact page to ask BAU Batumi about eligibility, documents, your written fee schedule and arrival support. The MENA representative is based in Amman and can assist remotely; do not make travel or licensing decisions based only on informal advice.
